BIOGRAPHY - SIMON KELLY
After a technician apprenticeship with GEC, Simon gained a 2:1 in Engineering Science from Loughborough University. He holds a postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of the West of England and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. In a twenty year international management career that has spanned most aspects of business, Simon has worked for Rolls Royce, Lloyd Instruments plc, Electrotech International and in 1988 was recruited by Group Training and Management Development for The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. During his time at HSBC he was responsible for the design and global facilitation of a wide range of business finance and strategic marketing programmes, as well as working as an internal consultant to the directors of HSBC subsidiaries.
On returning from Hong Kong in 1991 he formed the Simon Kelly Partnership, with the sole aim of helping management teams effectively turn strategy into action by improving their financial and strategic awareness and understanding. Simon works with public and private companies across a broad range of industry sectors, where the company has gained a reputation for practical management learning through tailored workshops and coaching that contribute to sustainable competitive advantage.
Simon is married with two children and lives in Clevedon Somerset. He joined Kingsway Training Limited as a Senior Business Consultant and Academy Course Director in 2004.
