BIOGRAPHY - MATTHEW JENKINS

Academy Course Director, Matthew JenkinsMatthew (45) is a commercial marketeer. Having developed his early career at Kellogg's, he moved into category management at Asda, becoming Head of Advertising (reporting to Allan Leighton) during the "Breakout" phase of Asda's turnaround. Matthew was later Marketing Director of Jewson, the £1.4bn builders' merchant group, where he led the marketing integration of the Graham Group business following acquisition. Matthew now acts as an independent consultant, specialising in senior interim marketing assignments on both sides of the retailer/manufacturer "fence". His recent clients have included Woolworths, Penhaligon's, Silentnight Group and Centura Foods.

Matthew joined Kingsway Training Limited as a Senior Business Consultant and Academy Course Director in 2005.
