BIOGRAPHY - DOMINIC GWILLIAMS

Academy Course Director, Dominic GwilliamsDominic has award-winning experience of selling both tangible and intangible goods. He has proven sales credentials, an MBA qualification and speaks fluent French and German. As a trainer, he specialises in Presentation Skills, Sales/Negotiation and Media Communications.

His specialist career in International Sales and Marketing led him to work with many blue chip brands, having worked for such companies as the Ryvita Company, Homepride Foods, Golden Wonder, The Campbell Soup Company and Sodastream (formerly part of the Cadbury Schweppes group).

His role within each of these companies included dealing direct with major multiples abroad and also working closely with agents, distributors and their field sales teams. He achieved success with each of these companies, starting out selling crispbread in Scandinavia as a Sales Executive with Ryvita and culminating in sole responsibility for nearly £17 million worth of sales at SodaStream (a little over 70% of the company's total turnover at the time).

Having increased SodaStream's overseas turnover by £6 million in two years, he was named Runner-up in the national Exporter of the Year awards in 1997. At around the same time, he also led a small crisis management team, which successfully defended a potential £10 million-consumer complaint, which had been leaked to the media.

Having gained his MBA, Dominic embarked on a career in the training industry. Once again, he achieved success, being the only member of a small sales team to consistently exceed his sales targets. He has since moved full-time into instructional course design and delivery, where he is the Trainer/Coach of choice for several clients.

Dominic became an Associate Business Consultant and Course Director at Kingsway Training Limited in 2004.
