SURVEYS, AUDITS, DIAGNOSTICS AND HEALTH CHECKS
THE TWELVE-POINT FINANCIAL HEALTH CHECK
"What gets measured gets managed!"
This is an in-company service that is particularly useful for the owner/managers of small to medium retail and manufacturing businesses who want to know more about the financial health of their business. It will help the owner/manager look at their business in a different context by encouraging them to make the connection between operational cause and financial effect. Ultimately it will help them develop an individual management style and business culture of "what gets measured gets managed".
Over the course of a day, we will work alongside owner/managers to help them analyse, understand and interpret their business from a financial perspective. We use a structured and practical twelve-step approach that will allow owner/managers to analyse their accounts and identify the financial strengths of their business, as well as highlighting the early warning signs of potential problems. We can offer "best-practice" financial benchmarks for various business types against which owner/managers can compare and contrast their own performance. The output of the health-check is used to identify areas for performance improvement and to form the basis of a practical and achievable financial plan for profitable and sustainable business growth.
Before undertaking the financial health-check, non-financial owner/managers often find it useful to enhance their general financial knowledge by attending one of our foundation business finance programmes.
